BEAVER TWP., Ohio (WKBN) – One person has died in a crash on state Route 7 in Beaver Township.
Beaver Township’s fire chief was down the street when he heard the call for help Friday morning and went to the scene. He said the car hit a pole and caught fire. Bystanders were trying to get the victims out of the vehicle, which was engulfed in flames.
Crews took one male to the hospital, and a female who was in the vehicle died.
The northbound lanes of Route 7 at W. Middletown Road are closed.
Traffic is backed up in the area. Driver should avoid the area, if possible.
