In recent times, when a number of new-gen Shonen series have arrived, Kohei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia has become a popular name that has attracted multi-generational viewers. The Shonen series has taken its sweet time to develop its plot, which focuses equally on its heroes and its villains.

Though the series flaunts a long list of characters, the most popular of them all would be Toshinori Yagi, popularly known as All Might. The superhero has been a sensation within the community, and his introduction took the fandom by storm.

In the initial season, he had the status of a main character, but later, he was sidelined, training the students of UA. Despite not being a Pro-Hero anymore, his popularity did not diminish as he remained a beloved figure in the show. As a result, fans of the series are asking Horikoshi-San to give them a film that narrates the hero in his prime.

All Might Continues to Remain a Fan Sensation in My Hero Academia

Kohei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia is everything nice that a Shonen fan would ask for in an anime, and the most popular figure would be All Might. None of the heroes could match the ideals that are showcased by the #1 Pro Hero; after all, the character is inspired by Son-Goku from Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball.

Despite being born Quirkless, he inherited the One For All from Nana Shimura and trained diligently under Gran Torino to bring out the real potential of the titular Quirk. Among all the Pro Heroes, All Might was the most selfless hero, who not only became the Symbol of Peace but also a beacon of hope.

Thus already becoming an icon figure in the MHA verse, where time and again he has risked everything and put his life on the line to save the students or the ones who are in grave danger. Despite having a ton of memorable moments in the Shonen series, his most unforgettable moment would be the one where he went all out against All For One on live television.

The battle was epic for multiple reasons, where his weakness was revealed to the public, and he mustered up the last of his Quirk’s power to defeat the antagonist. This moment changed everything; he was never the same after this moment because the public did not see him as an invincible figure anymore.

However, he defeated All For One and pointed at the camera, weakly saying, “You’re next!” It was a cryptic message for Izuku Midoriya to take charge and master his abilities. As the story progressed, his contribution to the series became smaller, but he remained one of the many wonderful things that surrounded the show.

Fans Demand an All Might Film from Kohei Horikoshi

Horikoshi-Sensei did a phenomenally great job with Toshinori Yagi because not only did he bestow him with great powers, but also made him incredibly humble. With never-ending moments that left a lasting impact on the viewers of the series, they soon turned into his fans.

Now, a fan took it to Reddit, where they posted on r/BokuNoHeroAcademia, where they posted a picture of the hero with the caption “I need a MHA move only about prime all might.” This post summoned the entire fandom, where everyone loved the idea and how they would love a film that revolved around him. Still, the manga author has moved on from the series following its subpar ending and would not even come close to making a spin-off of his magnum opus.

However, a project on the hero would be good enough to compensate for the ending that sent an uproar on the internet that claimed how he ruined Deku’s journey as a hero.

MHA can be streamed on Crunchyroll.
