A teenager was stabbed on a trail in Manchester on Sunday.
Officers responded to a report of a stabbing on the Cheney Rail Trail in the area of 91 Elm St. around 4:23 p.m. on Sunday and found a 15-year-old suffering from a stab wound, according to the Manchester Police Department.
Police as well as Manchester Fire and Rescue provided medical aid to the teen before he was taken to the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center for further treatment. His condition was not immediately clear.
A preliminary investigation found that the individuals involved in the stabbing had arranged to meet where the incident took place, according to police.
Police said they are still investigating and have not made any arrests.
