Two men were injured in west Jefferson County early Sunday when investigators say they shot each other.
Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched at 5:08 a.m. to a report of person shot in the 4000 block of McClendon Chapel Road.
When they arrived, said sheriff’s spokesman Henry Irby, they found two men wounded.
Both were taken to UAB Hospital. The severity of their injuries was not released.
Irby said the two men were involved in a verbal altercation that to them shooting each other.
