Decatur police say two officers were injured Thursday during a firearm training drill.
According to police, an officer accidently discharged his firearm and suffered a graze wound to his leg.
A second officer received a minor cut from shrapnel.
The officers were driven to Parkway Hospital by another officer who was present during the drill, police said.
Both officers were treated and released the same day and are expected to resume their regular duties.
