A 2-year-old was hit by a car in Hartford on Thursday.
Emergency crews responded to the area of 16 Owen St. just before 5 p.m. on the report of a motor vehicle crash, according to the Hartford Fire Department.
Fire officials said when crews arrived they found that a vehicle had struck a child. The driver remained at the scene.
A 2-year-old suffered minor injuries and was taken in an ambulance to a local hospital, according to fire officials.
The Hartford Police Department is investigating the crash.
