The early reactions to the Silent Hill 2 Remake have been extremely positive. The Silent Hill 2 Remake Does Not Shy Away From What Made the Original Version Controversial
The story follows James Sunderland’s return to the eerie town of Silent Hill looking for Mary, his deceased wife. As he parks on a spot overlooking the foggy town, James continues his trek on foot and finds himself at a cemetery where he meets Angela Orosco, a survivor of the horrors inflicted by her family. There is more to this character than meets the eye in Silent Hill 2.
Throughout the game, players must navigate the foggy town from one place to another looking for resources and clues as they fight a few enemies lurking in the area with zero visibility. While the game is focused heavily on horror elements, Bloober Team dialed it up to an eleven with the Abstract Daddy. This disgusting enemy will meet James as soon as he enters the Labyrinth.
This enemy boss is essentially equivalent to the Pyramid Head with James Sunderland; the Abstract Daddy is the ultimate manifestation of pain and trauma for Angela Orosco. Other players would consider this boss to be among the much more challenging bosses.
Stocking up on health items like drinks and syringes is a must, and it is wise to look around and pick up any stray bullets lying around.
How To Beat Abstract Daddy
The Abstract Daddy is a huge blob-like enemy spotted in tight and closed areas around Silent Hill, Maine. The initial phase will be another chase sequence, and players will have to direct James down a corridor into a room. The boss will attempt to charge towards the player, and it can be evaded and focus their ammo at the back, and it will seemingly appear defeated.
Tip
The Abstract Daddy is much more challenging and players will want to keep swinging and shooting.
James will meet Angela and hide in a tight closet space. The basic strategy for this fight is to keep running and shooting every chance you get.
This enemy can lurch, and the most efficient way to deal damage is by striking it at the back with a melee weapon or shooting it with the handgun.
Deal enough damage and this enemy will drop. The Abstract Daddy is the ultimate manifestation of Angela’s pain and trauma caused by her family and defeating it will give her the peace she deserved.
