Following the success of Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, Bandai Namco seems to be allegedly involved with the development of a Death Note game titled Death Note: Killer Within. The latest rating by the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee is a clear indicator that an unannounced Death Note game might be in the works with Bandai Namco as the publisher.

There is a high chance that we will be seeing a new game based on the widely celebrated anime of all time, Death Note. There have been no official announcements regarding the game as of now; however, a recent rating by the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee indicates that the game is all set to be published by Bandai Namco following the success of Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero

The unannounced game might be released as a PlayStation exclusive. However, nothing can be said for certain at the moment since an official announcement regarding the game is still due.

The only strong proof that sheds light on the Death Note game is that it was rated. Apart from that, there has been no news about the game whatsoever.

The game is based on the famous manga, where Light Yagami gains control of the Death Note to eliminate criminals. Although details about gameplay are limited. The game may draw on the thriller and psychological elements of the series, with the potential for strategic or narrative-driven mechanics.

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, which was released almost 15 years after the last Dragon Ball game, has hit the market with full force. The game was extremely well received, and it managed to live up to the expectations of players.

Now, Bandai Namco seems to be heading towards another famous manga series and turning it into a game. It is highly likely that we will be hearing from the studio soon about its future plans, including the alleged Death Note game.

The recent success enabled the studio to think big and focus on future projects with much ease and comfort. The studio is in a comfortable position right now to take bold steps and experiment with some of its upcoming titles.

Death Note is a very popular anime with a lot of demand, and people would love to see how a game adaptation would materialize.
