Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show returned after a hiatus for more than 5 years, with their former mainstays like Gigi Hadid, Adriana Lima, and Candice Swanepoel walking the runway. Joining the alums were the next-generation icons like Taylor Hill and Barbara Palvin. Hadid sported a bubblegum pink playsuit, accompanied by a gorgeous pair of feathered wings.
While her walk on the runway was nothing short of epic, there was another model who stunned the audience with her VS debut at 50. Kate Moss’s walk on the runway can be described as perhaps the most memorable moment of the evening. Moss’s daughter Lila Moss also appeared at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

Gigi Hadid opened the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which took place after a long hiatus. Hadid used to walk the runway for VS and was an obvious choice when they decided to bring the event back. Fans were in awe of the enormous pair of pink wings that accompanied her silk suit when she walked to a cheering crowd at the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
Hadid pulled a Taylor Swift move when she paused during her walk and shifted her weight from one hip to another. She lifted her one arm and waved at the audience before blowing a kiss and winking at them. She told ET before the event, “There’s something on the runway tonight that I was trained to do by Taylor on her tour.”

It was not the only appearance of the supermodel on the ramp. She came back later in another look, this time donning red lingerie with ruched wings. While Hadid was undoubtedly one of the prime attractions of the VS show, fans were even more stunned by Kate Moss.
It’s hard to believe that Moss is now 50 after seeing her perfect catwalk at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Moss was one of the modeling vets invited to the event, and it was her debut for the lingerie brand. For Moss, it was a walk in the park to appear at the show alongside a bunch of younger models including her daughter Lila Moss.

Moss covered her black bodysuit with a see-through black lace slip dress. She too sported feathered angel wings, which made her look chic on the runway. An X user called her the OG supermodel of all time, a description apt for Moss after her epic catwalk.
Victoria’s Secret Rectifies Earlier Mistakes With The Revamped Fashion Show
Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show saw the return of several vets including Alessandra Ambrosio, Tyra Banks, and Adriana Lima. The show also marked the first runway appearance of the Brazilian transgender model Valentina Sampaio. Another transgender model Alex Consani also walked the runway, highlighting the inclusiveness of the brand.
The last show was held in 2018 and the 2019 version was canceled after a period of turbulence in the company. Former CMO Ed Razek came under fire in 2018 for making controversial comments about transgender models. He told Vogue that transsexuals shouldn’t be put on the show because it was a “fantasy” and a “42-minute entertainment special.” Razek later apologized for the comments, saying they “came across as insensitive” (via X).
The lack of inclusivity was always a criticism VS faced and the comments just made it more visible. The current rebrand has given the show a more positive outlook.
