Huntsville Police have arrested and charged a man with reckless murder in connection with a deadly shooting Saturday night, and more arrests are expected, according to the department.
Jordan Latrell Smith, 21, of Huntsville, was booked into the Madison County Jail at 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Smith is charged in connection with a shooting at a gas station at 3310 Meridian St. at about 9:50 p.m.
Damien Obrien Manning, 22, was pronounced dead at the scene. A second victim, whose name has not been released, remains hospitalized in critical condition.
The department’s Major Crimes Unit is investigating the shooting.
