What Are the Ultimate Attacks in the Game?
Ultimate Attacks are core to the Budokai Tenkaichi games. They represent the most powerful of attacks a character possesses in the Dragon Ball universe. From Goku’s Spirit Bomb to Frieza’s Earth Breaker, there are a lot of them in the latest Bandai Namco game.
But they aren’t simply run-of-the-mill attacks that you can deflect. One can only run from them, and if they are lucky, dodge them to avoid major damage infliction. We will now see how that can be done.
How to Dodge Ultimate Attacks Using Dash
This is something that the users do almost all the time. Dashing is simply flying away in a particular direction; it just drains a character’s energy while dashing. Though it won’t be too fatiguing.
To perform the action in the game, just use R2 alongside X on a PlayStation controller. Now, when it comes to avoiding attacks, it is helpful in relatively minor Ultimates like the Special Beam Cannon. Just time it correctly to move right or left and you’ll be fine. Just try to do it a bit quickly.
How to Dodge Ultimate Attack Using Z Burst Dash
Now this move is nothing but an upgrade to dashing, but it’s far more effective when it comes to dodging Ultimate attacks. And it is natural that this technique will drain a lot more energy than the usual dash.
Tip
Z Burst Dash will put you in an unparalleled advantage until the Ultimate ends, so start beating your opponent while you can.
To perform the technique, press R2 and double tap X while holding that. You will see the character go from a passenger plane to a jet plane, landing behind the opponent.
Of course, it is useful for smaller attacks, but it is effective in dodging attacks like the Spirit Bomb. Master this and you won’t have to struggle even with Great Ape Vegeta in the game.
