Tulsa King’s getting roasted this season, and not in a good way. Even episode 5 felt like it was just hanging around, doing nothing to push the story forward. The promise of explosive storytelling seems to have fizzled out, making it feel more like Real Housewives of Oklahoma than the gritty drama fans signed up for. A Reddit user nailed it, calling it a complete snoozefest.

Season 1 = 10 Season 2 = 4, absolutely nothing has happened, complete snoozefest. Lots of new characters with little to no purpose.

So, what’s the deal? This season, brought to you by Taylor Sheridan and Terence Winter, has ditched the fun fish-out-of-water vibe. Now it’s just Dwight and his crew getting into one ridiculous scheme after another, from running a cannabis shop to dreaming up plans to milk the federal government with half-built wind turbines. Ambitious? Sure. Realistic? Not so much.

The first episode felt like a mashup of random scenes rather than a tight narrative. It teased some juicy drama—like Stacy turning Dwight in—but instead of keeping the heat, it served up quirky interludes that didn’t add up to anything. It’s like they’re trying to be a comedy, but all the punchlines are flat.

We’re halfway through the season, and the promise of an epic showdown between Dwight and Thresher’s still looming. Can we please get some action? With this slow pace, fans are starting to wonder if the show will find its groove or just keep dragging its feet.

Fans are seriously grumbling about Tulsa King Season 2. It’s not living up to the hype that Taylor Sheridan built with hits like Yellowstone and 1883. What started as a thrilling ride into the crime world now feels like a long, drawn-out snooze fest.

With fans feeling let down by the storytelling, it’s clear this season needs to pick up the pace if it wants to keep its audience on board.
