With Young Sheldon hitting big, it doesn’t seem CBS will slow down with spinoffs to The Big Bang Theory anytime soon, as viewers brace themselves for the next chapter in the franchise, Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage. Considering how likable Montana Jordan’s Georgie was in the TBBT spinoff, fans are reasonably excited to see what the future holds for him and Emily Osment’s Mandy.
While fans remain intrigued to see if the new sitcom will leave up to its parent show, one thing that Jordan should definitely carry over from his time on Young Sheldon is his shuffling skills.
Montana Jordan Aced the Skill of Shuffling Cards During Young Sheldon
Despite not being as intelligent as his genius younger brother, Georgie doesn’t back down from exhibiting his talent for sales and negotiation from a very early age in the sitcom. But this isn’t the lone major talent that he bears up his sleeve, as Montana Jordan attained the skill of shuffling cards during his time on the show. However, learning the one-hand shuffle wasn’t exactly easy, and the actor needed some professional assistance to master it.
That one-hand shuffle, that was the hardest. I told that magician I could really use bigger hands for this.
Hopefully, the showrunners will not shy away from highlighting Jordan’s shuffling skills in Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage.
Lance Barber Is Down To Appear in Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage
While fans are expecting to see some old faces in the new spinoff, interestingly, the Cooper patriarch’s return isn’t completely off the cards. Although his death served as one of the biggest emotional points of Young Sheldon, Lance Barber, who played George Cooper, hasn’t brushed off the possibility of a potential return in Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage.
However, the actor did add one condition, stressing that he’ll only consider the option if the character’s death in Young Sheldon remains unscathed.
I’d be open to getting the offer, that would be so flattering. If they figure out a way to do it that wasn’t diminishing what they’ve already established. If the writers decided to do that, they would do that in a thoughtful and classy way as opposed to a stunt to get people to watch the ghost of George Cooper return. If that could be done, then I would consider it. Otherwise, I’m really satisfied.
While it remains to be seen if Chuck Lorre entertains the idea of George’s return in some form or not, it’s safe to say that Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage will not be the last of TBBT spinoffs.
