Rainbow Kitten Surprise, an alternative rock indie band from North Carolina, is on tour in support of its latest album Love Hate Music Box.

The band, which includes lead vocalist Ela Melo, guitarist Darrick “Bozzy” Keller, electric guitarist Ethan Goodpaster and drummer Jess Haney was formed when members were students at Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C. According to legend, the band asked a friend to name the band and he chose Rainbow Kitten Surprise.

The group will perform nest week in Huntsville.
