Recently, Pew, a reliable fan page, shared the confirmed summary of the upcoming chapter, which features a major development in the saga. The story continues from the events of the previous chapter, where the Straw Hat Pirates are still entangled in the Sun God’s Temple, and will continue to take place in the same setting.

One Piece Chapter 1130 Teases a Showdown Between Luffy and Loki

Recently, Pew (@pewpiece) took the liberty of sharing the summary of Chapter 1130 on X. The chapter is titled The Cursed Prince. The cover of the manga continues to feature Yamato’s pilgrimage across Wano, where he is taking a nap with Otama, and someone seems to be stealing Yasuie Shomtsuki’s sword.

The chapter’s story commences, where Franky seems to be asking the Giant Warrior Pirates to stop searching for the area, as others could not be found. The Straw Hat Pirates assured them to have faith in Luffy and the rest of the crew members as they continued their journey.

The scene changes to the original crew members exiting the diorama, finding themselves inside a massive castle in a snowy land surrounded by forests and mountains. Nami felt dizzy from the change in surroundings and how the scale of the world was different from theirs.

At the same time, they encountered two Giants crossing the bridge; they were Goldberg and Gerd, members of Hajrudin’s New Giant Warrior Pirates. While they were having a conversation, Nami eavesdropped them, partly hearing “trespassing is illegal,” suggesting everyone stay hidden.

Suddenly, Luffy heard a man screaming at a distance, insisting on checking on the man while he asked his crew members to go ahead without him. The scene changed back to the Pirates’ ship, where Brogy and Dorry were complaining about how they couldn’t read the newspaper because it was too small.

Robin insisted on reading it to them, where we learned that their bounty had increased to 1.8 billion Beri, with their new wanted posters taken from the Egghead Island Arc. While reading out the incident on Egghead Island, Robin notices an X mark on Luffy’s arm, where Franky can’t seem to remember it. She feels that she has seen it somewhere before but can’t seem to recall.

Dorry claims that the Captain of the Straw Hat Pirates is “standing equal” to Red-Hair. Kashi mentions that he is still the “son of the king,” though being a “rough brat,” and they want to help them. However, they had an ulterior motive because there was some problem back in Elbaf, where Loki, an evil giant, took over the island in the absence of Dorry and Brogy.

Loki, the evil giant, was nicknamed the cursed prince, who murdered King Harald, his father, to get his hands on a legendary Devil Fruit. The information took everyone by surprise, where the Giants had managed to detain Loki but were on the verge of breaking free.

The scene changes when Luffy finds Loki chained up in the middle of the snow. The summary described the evil giant’s design as “BAD*SS,” where he has a thin and muscular build, with very long hair tied in two braids in the front; he seems to have tattoos on his arms, where he wore a normal outfit of a giant with a belt and a Jolly Roger with a crown.

He also wore a black helmet with two long horns, similar to what has been featured in the MCU, and an axe on his back. The two shared a brief exchange, where the giant asked the Emperor to name himself. He introduced himself in a typical fashion and asked him about the place and his name.

He stated that this is “Warland,” the land of the warriors, Elbaf, calling it the world’s most powerful nation. The last panel of the chapter shows Loki speaking with a malevolent smile, introducing him as the Sun God, “who will bring the end to this world.” The chapter concluded where it confirmed that the series would go on a hiatus for the next two weeks.

Chapter 1130 Gets The Fans Jumping With Excitement

Though everything about the summary was gripping, the exchange between Loki and Luffy was what got the fans jumping with excitement. They could not help but imagine how epic their battle would be, where Luffy would use his Sun God Nika’s powers to stop the evil prince in his path.

The fans did not waste any time as they voiced their opinion on social media, which was met with overwhelmingly positive notions from the readers praising Eiichiro Oda’s genius. They commented,

Nevertheless, Loki is going to be Luffy’s toughest opponent, where he might be second to Kaido in terms of strength, but more importantly, he has eaten a legendary Devil Fruit that we know nothing about.
