Weird fan encounters with an embarrassing turn of events following have become something fairly common in the entertainment industry now, and one of the most recent celebs to get tangled in a situation like this was none other than Olivia Rodrigo. This hilariously awkward moment took place during her currently ongoing Guts World Tour.

Seemingly trying to do something special for her fans, Rodrigo put up a request for a girl and a boy standing together, captured on the Guts Cam: She asked the pair to kiss. However, when she found out the truth behind this pair that she called “so cute”, Rodrigo didn’t hesitate to brush off her request and sincerely apologize to the duo!

Olivia Rodrigo is continuing to defy all odds while on her currently ongoing and tremendously celebrated Guts World Tour. Besides leaving people baffled with her iconic vocals and even more stunning lyrics of her songs, the singer-songwriter also became famous on this tour for trying to do something special for her fans – even though it turned out to sound hilariously creepy afterward.

During one of her live concerts, the Guts Cam went on to focus on a particular young pair in the crowd. The deja vu singer awed at the two when this happened and commented, “You guys are so cute!” Continuing, she then said how she thinks it would be fun if the two could give the crowd a kiss on the Guts Screen. While this obviously sounded cute, the pair’s reaction turned the table.

Apparently, the boy and girl that the camera was focusing on were actually brothers and sisters, and when Rodrigo asked them to share a kiss for the screen, they both hilariously freaked out.

Trying to control their laughter, both of them alternatively pointed to the other to shout that they were siblings to let the drivers license singer know that her request couldn’t be fulfilled.

What further made this unexpected turn of events even more comical was Rodrigo’s embarrassed reaction when she realized how absurd and creepy her request sounded since the pair were actually siblings. Immediately, she was heard screaming, “She’s your sister?! Oh sh-t! Oh sh-t. Okay, nevermind! Nevermind, nevermind, stop that! Oh, f–k no. That hasn’t happened before.”

While the concert continued after this, the guy from the pair captured on the Guts Cam took to his TikTok handle @tjsant06 to share a clip of the same with the caption, “Olivia Rodrigo asking my sister and I to kiss was not on my 2024 bingo card.” But while that was that, the happier singer was seemingly not done yet, as she even took to the comment section of this TikTok to say:

Of course, even though it did get awkward and embarrassing really fast for Rodrigo, it was a hilarious and worthwhile addition to the 21-year-old singer’s world tour.
