Country music star lights up cigar at concert to celebrate Tennessee’s win over Alabama

Morgan Wallen didn’t miss the chance to celebrate Tennessee’s 24-17 win over Alabama on Saturday night as he was set to perform.

Wallen, who was performing in at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C., walked to the stage on Saturday night while puffing on a cigar to celebrate the Vols’ big win.

The East Tennessee native has always been a big Tennessee fan. Just last month, Wallen entered a Neyland Stadium concert with former UT star Peyton Manning, who was rocking his Tennessee football uniform, helmet and all.

The “Tennessee Fan” song says it all right there in the lyrics:

“They beat us every damn year

“It’s been a minute since we pulled out a win

“I loaded the truck down with beer

“Drove down to watch ‘em do it again

“And they did so we went to the bar right after

“Met a girl with a houndstooth print of her chapter on her shirt

“And it turned into talkin’ all night

“She came back with me cross the Vol’ state line

“Guess the jokes on Alabama ‘cause they lost big this time

“I got the number one pick, blonde hair, red lips

Brought her over to the other side

“A little deep south Delta Gamma

“Done found a Smoky mountain man

“Yeah, she was raised Roll Tide ‘til the day she died

“But ever since that night, she’s been a Tennessee fan”

On Saturday night, Chris Brazzell II made a diving 16-yard touchdown pass in the corner of the end zone from Nico Iamaleava midway through the fourth quarter to lead No. 11 Tennessee over No. 7 Alabama 24-17.

Dylan Sampson rushed for 139 yards and two touchdowns for the Volunteers. The victory allows Tennessee to stay in the hunt for a College Football Playoff spot.

The Crimson Tide have their work cut out for them. Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe struggled, connecting on 25 of 44 passes for 239 yards a touchdown and two interceptions. Iamaleava overcame early struggles to complete two key passes in the second half.
