How to Prepare to Fight Hoarah Loux, Warrior?
Hoarah Loux, Warrior may be powerful and aggressive; however, it does not make him invincible. Players can exploit these weaknesses and take advantage of items that heavily deal with the Bleed effect or Scarlet Rot. This boss has a handful of melee attacks and players can equip the Bloodhound’s Step to increase the distance of each dodge and this is effective against other optional bosses like Commander Gaius from the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion.
Tip
Players should use every buff they have before entering the arena and summon a Mimic Tear.
The second phase is much more intense since Hoarah Loux will start charging toward the Tarnished and perform a few powerful area-of-effect attacks. Players will have little room to breathe between each move and should time their dodges and counter with a greatsword like the Blasphemous Blade that can deal heavy fire damage.

Elden Ring players survived this long by applying some self-preservation tactics from older Soulslike games like dodging or running away. This method can be used against Hoarah Loux, especially with a Mimic Tear in the field to distract it. Together, the Tarnished and the Mimic Tear can use Rotten Breath to inflict the Scarlet Rot effect.
While Hoarah Loux is occupied with the Mimic Tear, players can use the two-handed attack with the Blasphemous Blade and target it on the back of the boss. This method is effective against Jori, Elder Inquisitor, and other optional bosses.
After a few timed strikes with the Blasphemous Blade and the Scarlet Rot chipping away the health bar, Hoarah Loux will be down for the count. Players will receive 300000 Runes and Remembrance of Hoarah Loux for their efforts.
