An unknown path taken with a fellow companion is fun, or you can say it’s an alternate story that never made it to the original series. Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero lets players take on a similar path where fans will go through a few what-if scenarios.
There are eight different characters in the Episode Battles and this guide will follow Saiyan Price Vegeta. The fans will feel the same as they did during the original anime but there are a couple of instances where they may feel refreshed during this journey.
How to Unlock the Parental Bond Branching Path?
All of it begins with the Wind-up Doll episode, where Vegeta needs to fight Android 18 and win within a fixed time limit. Once done, a new path will appear for the users to follow.

Give it your all, from major to minor attacks, during the time limited battles to finish things off quickly.
The first alternate event in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero includes Vegeta’s fight with Trunks. You are supposed to push Trunks to his limits, so better stay in the Sparking Mode to keep things going.
Next up will be the fight against Cell. Given that Vegeta is yet to reach his best, users are destined to lose here, just like the bonus battle with Lord Beerus in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero.
Another key change you will notice is that Vegeta will be the one to kick off Cell Games. This one is quite interesting.
We all remember the legendary Father-Son team-up that happened during the arc’s end. There’s a bit of change as the pair is now Trunks-Vegeta instead of Gohan-Goku.
How to Unlock the Number One Spot Branching Path?
The users will come across the next branching path during the Majin Buu Saga. While Vegeta allowed Babidi to take control over his mind, he can actually shake it off in Sparking Zero by choosing ‘Shake off brainwashing‘ during the story.
Following this, Vegeta will go all out against the Demon King Dabura and Babidi. Majin Buu should thank Vegeta here as he never comes out of his slumber. As there remains no threat, life comes back to normal.
Eventually, Vegeta gets to finish his World Martial Arts Tournament fight against Goku. He didn’t have to wait for the training with Beerus to finally defeat Goku. He is announced the winner, and it is a happy ending.
