In total, three Spanish establishments have managed to sneak into the 50 favorites, the sum of the Spanish representation being much lower, for example, than that of the aforementioned cities. Sips and Paradiso are followed, although from a distance, by Salmon Guru, ranked 23rd. The Madrid cocktail bar led by Diego Cabrera It loses seven positions compared to the previous year, when it was completely renewed both in appearance and in proposal. The annual list of The World’s 50 Best Bars decided by a voting panel of over 700 renowned independent beverage experts bartenders and professors, along with award-winning beverage journalists and cocktail specialists. The guide also clarifies that voters remain anonymous and that voting is confidential, secure and independently audited by Deloitte.

At the beginning of October, the ranking also announced online the establishments belonging to the extended list, that is, those classified between positions 51 and 100. Among them, at number 65, is, for example, the Angelita cocktail bar, in Madridled by brothers Mario and David Villalón and the only Spanish representative in said section.
