A 60-year-old man died this Wednesday in a house fire in Córdoba in which a woman was also injured due to burns, as reported in a note by the Emergency Coordination Center. The event occurred at 6:05 a.m., when neighbors reported that smoke was coming out of an apartment located on the ground floor on Avenida del Tenor Pedro Lavirgen, in the Moreras neighborhood. The woman was injured by second-degree burns on her face, back and arms, while her son was unharmed.
Firefighters, Local Police, National Police and Health Emergency Center 061, belonging to the Andalusian Health Service (SAS), have intervened at the scene. According to Local Police sources, the deceased has been found dead in the property, while the National Police investigates the circumstances of the incident.
