Díaz Ayuso’s partner tried to deduct expenses from a vacation with the president in Croatia and Greece | Spain

Alberto González Amador, partner of Isabel Díaz Ayuso, tried to deduct from his tax obligations expenses corresponding to a vacation in Croatia and Greece in August 2021 that he shared with the president of the Community of Madrid. This is stated in the Treasury documentation that is part of the judicial summary of the case in which González Amador for alleged tax crimes and document falsification, and that this Wednesday the BE. Furthermore, according to the Transparency website of the Community of Madrid, the president reserved the authorities room at the Barajas airport at the expense of the public treasury for the departure and arrival flights of that private and vacation trip.

The Madrid Government has limited itself to answering that the president pays for “all her trips” and all expenses “of a personal nature”, on the contrary, it has maintained, that Pedro Sánchez. “The president does not charge the public treasury absolutely anything, she pays everything out of her own pocket,” stated the Presidency advisor, Miguel Ángel García Martín.

Díaz Ayuso stated last Monday that he was not planning to attend the meeting to which the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, had called him, because he had called his partner a “confessed tax criminal.” Various Treasury documents contained in the summary indicate that, for two years, González Amador deceived the Treasury by declaring expenses of 1.8 million euros that allowed him to avoid paying 155,000 euros in 2020 and 195,000 euros in 2021as EL PAÍS explained last Monday. That amount is well above what is considered a tax crime.

In the case of trips with the president, González Amador transferred to the Treasury the cost of renting two vehicles in Zagreb and Crete in August 2021, when the businessman went on vacation for 11 days with Díaz Ayuso. The invoices, as revealed by the SER, were issued in the name of his company Maxwell Cremona, which allowed him to reduce the invoice with the treasury. Specifically, the rental of a car in Zagreb between August 16 and 22, 2021 and another in Crete between August 24 and 27 of the same year was invoiced for 1,036.61 euros.

On the other hand, and as recorded in the Transparency records of the Community of Madrid, Díaz Ayuso used the authorities room at the Barajas airport for the Madrid-Zagreb and Athens-Madrid flights on August 16 and 27, 2021, precisely when González Amador picked up and delivered the cars; that is, the day the couple starts their trip and the day they return. The room reservation cost taxpayers 290.40 euros.

Asked about this information, the Government of the Community of Madrid has limited itself to stating this Wednesday that Díaz Ayuso “absolutely pays for all the trips he makes” and “all the issues that are of a personal nature”, and has slipped that “hopefully “Everyone could say the same thing.” “All the expenses incurred by the president of the Community of Madrid on her personal trips are paid by her. He doesn’t travel in Falcon, like other people travel. He does not enjoy stays in residences paid for by all taxpayers, as the President of the Government does when he enjoys the different official residences that he has at his service during the summer and during other festivities. (Ayuso) Whenever he travels, he pays for his planes, his hotels, all the expenses that have nothing to do with his official activity, as it cannot be otherwise,” the spokesperson for the Madrid Executive and advisor to Presidency, Justice and Local Administration, Miguel Ángel García Martín, reports Juan José Mateo.

García Martín has alluded to the “corruption plots that are very significantly affecting the Government, the PSOE”, and added that what must be asked is “why are personal data published that only the administration and the individual (affected) ) should know”, in reference to the documents revealed by the SER. He has also attacked the first vice president of the Government and Minister of Finance, María Jesús Montero, who hours before, in the Congress of Deputies, had disfigured González Amador’s attempt to deduct “private expenses”, had requested the resignation of Ayuso and had predicted: “I imagine that in the coming days you will have access to more information that will shock us all.” The spokesperson for the Community of Madrid reminded Montero that “the Penal Code punishes the “revelation of private data” with penalties of up to three years in prison and up to five years of disqualification.

For his part, the mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez-Almeida (PP), has stated that we must be “careful” if the names of the members of Pedro Sánchez’s Government who have entered the authorities’ room begin to be known. of Barajas. “I am sure that the first ones who are interested in ensuring that no one knows who is going to the authorities room is the Government of Spain, because you have no doubt that we would be in for more than one surprise (…) Perhaps whoever leaked that news “You should try your clothes,” said the councilor. “Coincidentally, the Tax Agency and the authority chamber, who do they depend on? Just like the Prosecutor’s Office: number one, the leader of the gang. The same people who are throwing their hands at their heads because of the defenselessness of Pedro Sánchez’s leaked statement are the same ones who are leaking tax files every day with impunity,” he added, Europa Press reports.

The spokesperson for Más Madrid, Manuela Bergerot, has stated that both Ayuso and her partner “feel the same contempt for the public”, and that for this reason “on the same journey of love she paid for the VIP room with the money of all Madrid residents. and he tried to deduct taxes on rental cars.” “They are cheeky and believe they go unpunished,” he concluded. The Madrid PSOE has added: “You cannot have such a hard face or be so immoral.”
