Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash involving a young girl in New London on Tuesday.
Officers responded to the area of 33 Ocean Ave. around 3:13 p.m. on Tuesday on a report of a motor vehicle vs. pedestrian crash, according to the New London Police Department.
Officers located a juvenile pedestrian, identified as a 12-year-old girl, who was transported to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital.
According to police, the vehicle involved fled the scene but was later located.
The investigation is ongoing, police said.
