AUSTIN (KXAN) — On Thursday, Revival Coffee, located at 1405 E. 7th Street, announced it will close its doors with its last day of business Sunday.
According to a post on its Instagram page, the coffee shop said the closure was due to it being unable to secure a long-term lease renewal.
“To our incredible staff, thank you for your hard work and dedication. And to our amazing customers, you’ve made Revival more than a café; you’ve made it a home. Your support, your stories, and your energy have meant the world to us,” the social media post said.
A GoFundMe was set up for Revival’s staff to help with the transition to new opportunities, according to the coffee shop.
“Your generosity means the world to them,” the post said. “Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for being a part of our journey.”
However, there could still be hope for the coffee shop.
“Stay tuned for announcements on new projects in 2025!” the post said.
