(WJW) – Attention pickle lovers! Jimmy John’s is introducing a limited-time sandwich just for you.
The new menu item, called the Picklewich, replaces the bread with a massive kosher dill pickle, Inspire Brands announced in a Thursday press release.
Jimmy John’s shared photos of the new sandwich on Facebook, stating that it will be available at participating locations across the country from Monday, Oct. 28 through National Pickle Day on Nov. 14.
There are two versions of the sandwich: the Vito Picklewich and the Turkey Picklewich.
The Vito Picklewich, according to the release, includes, “salami, capocollo & provolone cheese, fresh-sliced lettuce, tomato, onion, oil & vinegar, and oregano-basil with a crispy, pickley crunch.”
The Turkey Picklewich includes, “premium turkey and provolone between two halves of a crisp Jimmy Pickle,” the release said.
The Illinois-based chain is also bringing back its Pickle Jimmy Chips for those looking for more pickle-flavored goodness.
