While the Minivan days are almost extinct since the fad of SUVs have come to the consumer market, the Honda Odyssey still has a large spot in Grasso’s Garage. For 2024, and a final assembly location in Lincoln, Alabama, the Honda Odyssey boasts tremendous room comfort and style.
Our 2024 Honda Odyssey Elite tester came wrapped in Lunar Silver Metallic and a Gray interior. Since Honda delivered this just in time for a field trip, me and 5 friends piled in and went to a MLB baseball game. The 2 hour road trip, both ways, was perfect and a great way to spend a Friday night away from home. With plenty of space, and outstanding comfort, the Honda Odyssey was able to comfortably fit all of our stuff, coolers, chairs and people.
Powered by a 280 horsepower, 3.5-liter VTEC V6 engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, the Honda Odyssey Elite has no problem getting up and going and is ultra smooth in both a rural and city-like environment. On the inside, 8 seats, with the optional 2nd row middle seat removal for added comfort space making it a true 7-seater. Blu-Ray/DVD rear seat entertainment with wireless headsets, SiriusXM Radio, and Honda Navigation. On the outside, dual power sliding doors, great sight lines and aesthetics, 19-inch wheels, LED Headlights and remote engine start.
With Honda being a large part of consumer happiness in 2024, their brand delivers excellent reliability, style all with a great price. The Honda Odyssey continues in Grasso’s Garage as easily the best people mover there is, and for a minivan lover myself, there is nothing like a Honda Odyssey.
