This is a quick guide on how to beat Heismay in Metaphor: ReFantazio. This enemy boss is required to defeat, will eventually join the party and the Protagonist can bond with them later after a few boss encounters. This boss is not as hard compared to other in-game bosses that can be faced later in the game, but he can pack a punch.
Heismay is a formidable opponent making him a valuable ally to the party. With no known weaknesses to exploit, Heismay is a great force to be reckoned with and players should not charge in without a plan of attack.
Where Can You Find Heismay?
The boss battle against Heismay is part of the Apprehend the Real Kidnapper questline and the arena is hosted at the Giant Sandworm’s Nest. The game developers of Studio Zero designed the United Kingdom of Euchronia to be massive in scale and give Metaphor: ReFantazio players an expansive stomping ground.
There are two phases during the fight against Heismay, similar to other Soulslike bosses like Godfrey, the First Elden Lord who changes into Hoarah Loux, Warrior in Elden Ring. Fortunately, the fight against this boss is not as difficult as traditional bosses but it will give the party a run for their money if they go in unprepared.
How to Prepare to Fight Heismay?
Players should prepare for two phases in this fight and have enough healing items in their inventory. Fortunately, players can get through different parts of the map with the fast-travel feature; however, there are limitations and players might not be able to do so if they are thrown into the deep end of a quest and should consider doing that before starting a lengthy mission.
Tip
Heismay has no weaknesses; however, observing the environment can pay off.
