An Oxford woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Dallas County Friday night, according to state troopers.
The crash occurred around 11:30 p.m. Friday on Alabama State Route 22 near the 36 mile marker, about 13 miles west of Selma.
Authorities identified the victim as 27-year-old Nina N. Mims. She was fatally injured when the 2009 Honda Pilot she was driving left the roadway, struck a tree and caught fire.
Mims was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division are continuing to investigate the incident. No other information is available at this time.
