The release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has the entire gaming community in a chokehold, and with good reason! Treyarch and Raven Software have promised a unique experience where the player will be able to control their favorite Operators like never before.
Zombies mode is also making a return, and it’s bringing some of the classics that the franchise has been lauded for over the years. This beverage has been around since Black Ops 2, and its effects have evolved over the years. We’ve made it easy for you to know how to craft this consumable in Black Ops 6 so you can continue your undead slaying!
What is a Deadshot Daiquiri in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6?
The Deadshot Daiquiri is a Perk-a-Cola in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 that reduces weapon spread by 35% and moves the aim-assist lock-on to the head instead of the torso when aiming down the sights. The perk also increases the damage you deal from critical hits, making it very useful when facing large opponents.
This makes it a very useful pick-up in Black Ops 6 Zombies, as it will result in you getting more kills per shot, thereby conserving ammo and making it much more likely you’ll survive for several more rounds, similar to how Ability Items in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero can enhance your chances of winning Ranked matches online.
The developers had mentioned in a blog post back in August that the consumable, much to the delight of many fans who enjoy the Zombies mode. However, as with many bonuses in the game, getting this perk is not as straightforward as using it, and players will have to spend some time familiarizing themselves with the map to find this bonus.
How to Acquire Deadshot Daiquiri?
To get the drink, players will have to find a Deadshot Daiquiri Perk-a-Cola machine or a Der Wunderfizz machine on the map. You can purchase it from these machines, but you will need to have some Essence in the bank to spend. You can earn Essence by taking out zombies, and taking out an entire horde should net you a tidy sum in a short amount of time.
Tip
The price of Daiquiri will increase after every purchase, so you can quickly run out of currency if you decide to stock up.
There will be only one Der Wunderfizz machine on the map, and reaching it is no easy task. However, doing so will be worth the effort as it provides you with all possible available perks, similar to the efforts it takes to summon Super Shenron to wish for two unique characters.
The Daiquiri machine will look a bit more run-down than other Perk-a-cola machines. In previous games, this particular consumable’s cost started at 1,500 Essence on consoles and 1,000 on PC. The price difference is due to the lack of aim-assist on the PC variant.
How to Improve Deadshot Daiquiri’s Effects?
The Deadshot Daiquiri can be upgraded by using Minor and Major Augments by researching the required upgrades. You can find these upgrades in the pre-game menu, and unlocking all of the Augments will unlock the consumable’s true potential.
Players can equip six Augments at any given time: three Major and another three Minor.
Major Augments
Augment Name | Effect |
Dead Head | Increases critical damage output even more. |
Dead First | Double critical damage dealt if the targeted enemy is at full health. |
Dead Again | Critical hits have the potential to replenish a bullet in your current magazine |
Minor Augments
Augment Name | Effect |
Dead Break | Increases damage dealt to pieces of armor. |
Dead Draw | Reduces spread when firing from the hip. |
Dead Set | Reduces gun sway when performing advanced movement. |
The Minor Augments will impart a limited bonus during a match, and a Major one will be far more noticeable. So, it’s on the player to choose which Augment should slot into which category.
With careful calibration, you can make every drink help you take down even the most difficult zombies in the mode!
