Get your Sharpies ready for Alabama Comic Con, a sci-fi and fantasy convention in Birmingham. The event, set for Sept. 28-29 at the BJCC East Exhibit Hall, includes about 30 special guests, many of them famed for their work in movies and television. Others are well known as professional wrestlers, comic book creators, anime voice actors, cosplay experts and more.
Here are five iconic celebs you won’t want to miss at the downtown con. They’ll be meeting fans, signing autographs and taking photos with folks who attend on Saturday and Sunday. If you get tired of stargazing, Alabama Comic Con also offers gaming, vendors, panel discussions, a costume contest and lots of socializing among the fans.
