The £60million complex offers visitors guaranteed breakers every day.

The modern facility, which boasts Europe’s largest wave pool, launched last week.

And the world-class surf centre has officially opened its doors today.

Lost Shore is described as “Edinburgh’s surf and hotel getaway”.

The huge wave pool is three times the size of Wembley Stadium’s pitch.

Powered by Wavegarden technology, it can generate up to 1,000 customisable waves per hour.

From novices to seasoned pros, surfers of all abilities will have the chance to ride world-class waves designed to their skill level.

Lost Shore has a waterfront bar, surf school, sauna, and luxury accommodation, with three to four bedroom hilltop lodges overlooking the pool.

There is also a canteen, top Scottish eateries in its waterfront bar, cafe, and a restaurant.

With a 250-metre beachfront and over 20 wave types, surfers can fine-tune their skills while receiving expert tuition.
