A HUGE indoor Christmas Market is set to return to Glasgow this year – and here is all you need to know to get into the festive spirit.
Fans of new and handmade items will be spoilt for choice as the city‘s “Biggest Indoor Christmas Market” arrives next month.
With 70 stalls, the “Jingle Bell-a-houston Christmas Market” will take place at the Glasgow Club Bellahouston sport centre – and will be packed with vintage and handmade treats.
Hosts Too Good To Throw events have billed the event as “magical, family-friendly day full of festive fun” – and is completely indoors to protect punters from the Glasgow winter weather.
Featuring stalls from local artists and makers, the event will be packed with handmade crafts, Christmas treats, and the perfect festive gifts.
There will be jewellers, crafters and seasonal clothing and accessories on offer.
Hungry shoppers will also have access to artisan food and drink stalls, as well as chocolatiers and sweet treat makers for gifts.
The event team revealed that Santa Claus himself will be there to spread holiday cheer as the special guest.
There will also be live music to get revelers in the Christmas spirit.
And festive tunes from their DJ who will be “delivering festive classics” throughout the day.
The event takes place on Sunday, December 15 with doors open from 10 am to 1.30pm.
Entry will cost £1.50 while those under 16s go free when accompanied by an adult.
We previously told how the dates for Glasgow’s famous Winterfest have been revealed.
The annual celebration is returning to George Square and St Enoch Square once more, and here’s when you can expect its arrival.
Glasgow Winterfest at George Square kicks off in late November this year, with the festivities getting underway on Saturday, November 23.
The market filled with food stalls, carnival games and funfair rides will stay open until Sunday, January 5.
Then, St Enoch Square will take over after a short break from the action, with the famous Christmas market opening for business on Saturday, November 9.
It will remain open throughout the month of December, wrapping up just short of New Years, on December 29.
