And ultras group the Union Bears unfurled a stinging banner calling for a change in the club’s leadership.

It read: “Park and Co, Time to go.”

This is in reference to either/or former chairman and shareholder Douglas Park and his son and director Graeme.

It’s not the first time in recent weeks they’ve produced something similar, with one spotted from the stands during a defeat at Rugby Park.

The team’s manager has also come under pressure with Philippe Clement leading the team which sits nine points adrift at the top of the Scottish Premiership.

However he HASN’T held talks with interim chairman John Gilligan or other directors over the team’s present predicament.

He said: “I didn’t have discussions about that.

“In the last couple of weeks they’ve been really busy with a lot of other things in the club.”

Clement doesn’t reckon it’s on the agenda either because he was brought in with a ‘long-term plan’ and believes the board understand that too.

He added: “I’m very confident about that because that was also the really clear message to step in a story for a longer term. They knew everything about the numbers, about what was necessary and I don’t want to repeat all these things.

Kris Boyd says Rangers crisis under Philippe Clement reminds him of the bad old days with Paul Le Guen

“I think I said it enough. And what consequences it can have. and it’s about small margins like last season, taking those margins and making it better, better again.”
