It’s true that there’s a weird obsession with teddy bears in the film industry, and thus, no attempt to find the right bear is ever quite enough. This has resulted in several bears flocking to the scene, making it a highly competitive arena for bears to be honest!
According to Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield, with a little British bias, Paddington, the quintessential British bear, is the one true ultimate bear!
During a LADbible video, the duo tackled the burning question of whether Paddington Bear is overrated. As soon as Pugh caught wind of the question, she couldn’t help but let out her classic, “Oh, shut up!” The conversation heated up as they passionately argued why that statement was totally off-base, declaring Paddington the ultimate bear and insisting that all the other bears would agree!
They made it crystal clear that when it comes to bears, there’s no room for discrimination. Comparing bears is just plain unfair, and anyone with a Paddington-related opinion should really keep it to themselves. After all, Paddington is in a league of his own, and there’s no contest when it comes to his charm and charisma. But that doesn’t mean they hate other bears, each one has its own special place in their hearts.

Especially as Brits, we grow up with the quirkiest and most beautiful of love stories. And I think it’s been a long time since we’ve had one of those, When I read it, I just fell in love with the idea of getting to be in one of those movies that will matter to a lot of people, and will live for a long time. And it’s about the simplest of things, which is that we are here, I personally believe, for one reason only: to love and be loved.
