A woman was shot in Hartford in the early morning hours on Tuesday.
Officers responded to the area of 100 Laurel St. just before 2 a.m. after receiving a ShotSpotter notification, according to Lt. Aaron Boisvert of the Hartford Police Department.
Police found a woman in her 50s suffering from gunshot wounds not considered life-threatening, Boisvert said. She was taken for treatment at an area hospital, where she was listed in stable condition.
The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions responded and assisted with the investigation. Boisvert said the investigation remains ongoing.
