A man was shot and killed at a hotel in Stamford on Monday.
Patrol officers responded to the Super 8 hotel at 32 Grenhardt Road around 10:40 a.m. on the report of a shooting and found a 59-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound, according to the Stamford Police Department.
Police said the victim, Angel Samaniego of Stamford, was pronounced dead at the scene by medics.
No other information has been released.
The fatal shooting remains under investigation.
