Recently, I was invited to a behind-closed doors event hosted by Corsair to reveal tech that is coming into the scene over the coming months, but one selection of tech stood out amongst the rest, and that is the Elgato Neo set of tech.
Elgato is a company that is known for working on technology that can advance the gaming and streaming industries in many ways, but this new selection of tech is a step in the right direction as it allows even more users to jump straight in.
The Elgato Neo Set of Streaming Equipment Could Be the Next Must-Have Set
To start off, the Elgato Neo set of streaming equipment isn’t exactly brand-new as it has already been released for a few months, but during this behind-closed doors event, we got a deeper look into what makes this equipment stand out amongst the rest.
First of all, let’s talk about the set of equipment in general, as there are 5 different pieces of equipment within the Elgato Neo family that can benefit anyone, from a gamer to an influencer.
Within the Elgato Neo family, there is a webcam, microphone, key light, game capture, and stream deck. Each of these items has its own individual uses that benefit anyone looking to get into the streaming world.
To make this equipment even more useful for those who are just starting out, each piece of equipment utilises Plug-N’-Play, allowing users to jump straight into the action without having to tinker with settings, but for those who like to tinker, don’t worry there are setting options.

Next is the microphone, or as it is known, the Wave Neo. The Wave Neo is available to purchase for $124.99 and is a standing microphone that anyone can use, whether it be on their computer, iPad, iPhone, or even PlayStation consoles.
What makes this microphone stand out is the fact that it provides incredible clarity for the user, as well as being at a reasonable height for anyone to use, ensuring the quality of voice.
Another feature that is provided with this microphone is the ability to mute the microphone without having to press a button, removing the unnecessary button-pressing noise and changing it for the silence of tapping on the microphone.
For those who like to keep their setups in a certain colour palette or theme, do not worry, as the pop filter of the Wave Neo can also be swapped out for different options.
