Alabama injury report: Domani Jackson, Kobe Prentice, Kendrick Law and more

Alabama football’s first availability report of Tennessee week is the most populated of any of the Crimson Tide’s this season. However, it seems some of UA’s contributors could be on the way back for the matchup in Knoxville.

At wide receiver, Kobe Prentice and Kendrick Law were both listed as probable. Prentice suffered a head injury against Vanderbilt, while Law sustained what head coach Kalen DeBoer called a “lower-leg injury” against Georgia.

“Right now I would say they are probable,” DeBoer said Wednesday on the SEC coaches teleconference. “Just continue to work through practices. Feeling better and better about it each and every day.”

Alabama cornerback Domani Jackson was also listed as probable. He left the Tide’s Saturday win over South Carolina, but returned to make the game-sealing interception.

Linebacker Yhonzae Pierre was listed as questionable. He missed the South Carolina game.

Pierre’s linebacking compatriot Cayden Jones was listed as out. He has mostly contributed on special teams throughout his freshman campaign.

On the Tennessee side, three players were listed as out, including linebackers Edwin Spillman and Keenan Pili, along with defensive back Jourdan Thomas. Running back Cameron Seldon was designated as questionable, while offensive lineman Lance Heard was set as probable.

The SEC began requiring teams to submit daily availability reports beginning on Wednesdays of conference game weeks for the 2024 season. Final reports are released 90 minutes before kickoff.

Alabama and Tennessee are scheduled to kick off at 2:45 p.m. CT Saturday in Knoxville. The game will be aired on ABC.
