A female crossing guard was struck by a vehicle this morning in Madison.
HEMSI spokesman Don Webster said the incident happened at 7:27 a.m. at 4976 Wall Triana Highway at West Madison Pre-K Center.
The woman was taken to Huntsville Hospital where she is in critical but stable condition, Webster said.
A Madison City Schools spokesperson said the woman was a school crossing guard at the school.
Police are investigating.
