Vice President Kamala Harris brought no substance to her interview with Fox News’ Bret Baier, instead acting “like a crazy ex-girlfriend” who is “absolutely obsessed” with Donald Trump, according to Alabama’s senior senator.
Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala., used similar rhetoric — likening Harris to an “obsessed ex-girlfriend” — to describe Harris’ response to Trump’s performance Thursday night at the Al Smith Dinner in New York City.
“She came across … like a crazy ex-girlfriend,” Tuberville said of the 2024 Democratic presidential candidate’s during an appearance Thursday on Fox Business’ Kudlow.
“The only thing that we learned was how obsessed, absolutely obsessed she was with Donald Trump,” Tuberville said.
Efforts to reach the Harris campaign for a response were not immediately successful.
Alabama’s senior senator claimed Harris mischaracterized campaign issues during the interview.
“There wasn’t one true thing she said about immigration, and I think she’s just totally out of touch,” he said. “She tries to listen to everybody on her side about, ‘hey listen, try to switch everything back to Donald Trump, don’t say anything, blame him, play the blame game again.’ It’s not gonna work.”
