The singer Mario Vaquerizo is under observation at the University Hospital of Cáceres, after suffering a fall from the Horteralia Festival stage where he was performing this Saturday, held in the capital of Cáceres, as confirmed by sources from the Extremadura Health Service to Europa Press.
The accident occurred during the artist’s performance with his group, Nancys Rubias, who were headlining the festival held on October 18 and 19 at the Cáceres Fairgrounds.
“Unfortunately, he is not in a position to get on stage and neither are the rest of the Nancys,” the organization of the event published on their social networks, after noting that the accidental fall had been “atrocious.”
The same organization has explained to Europa Press that the artist was first treated on site by the medical services that were on site, and was later transferred to the hospital for “follow-up.”
