YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – The Youngstown State University Women’s basketball team is adding Clarion to the schedule and will tip off with the Golden Eagles this Friday at 6:30 p.m. at Beeghly Center.
This will mark the eighth all-time meeting between the Penguins and Golden Eagles, and the first since 2006. Youngstown State is 6-1 all-time against Clarion, with their last loss to the Golden Eagles coming in 1977.
YSU is 1-0 this season and coming off a 95-39 victory over Lake Erie in the season opener.
The additional game will bring the Penguins back to 30 regular season contests. YSU had their home opener against North Dakota canceled last week due to a power outage at the Beeghly Center.
