The Superior Court of Justice of Madrid (TSJM) has rejected the complaint that Begoña Gómez presented against the investigating judge Juan Carlos Peinadowhich keeps her charged with influence peddling and business corruption. In an order notified this Wednesday, the court maintains that “the tortuous departure from the norm” that the wife of the President of the Government attributed to the judge is not appreciated. “There is no departure from the logical interpretation of the order that is of such magnitude that it allows us to conclude that the application of the law and the resolution itself are arbitrary,” the judges point out.
