Dellafuente resigns from the Bernabéu and moves his suspended concert to the Metropolitano | Culture

The concert of Dellafuente at the Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid, suspended a month ago, will change its date and location and will take place on June 20, 2025 at the Metropolitan stadium, with a new date the following day, as announced this Wednesday by the Granada artist. The show, originally scheduled for November 15 of this year, was one of five suspended by Real Madrid last September. Although the white club had announced the “temporary rescheduling” of its events until March of next year and assured that “the new dates and details” of the concert would be announced “soon,” the decision by Dellafuente and the show organization to change headquarters is due to his desire to “ensure the viability of shows that promise to mark a before and after in his career.”

Dellafuente had sold out the Bernabéu in just one hour, and was going to become the first Spanish artist without a major record label behind him to fill the space. Some 75,000 people bought their tickets, according to the organization’s data, and another 25,000 were left out. In the Atlético de Madrid Metropolitano, there will be space for about 70,000 souls per night. Those who already had a ticket, those who were left out and those who want to join.

Dellafuente’s is the second of the concerts suspended at the Bernabéu that change venue. Before The self-proclaimed “biggest k-pop event in the world” did itthe Music Band Tour that, after the suspension of its show scheduled for October 12, kept the date, but changed venues to the Miguel Ríos de Rivas auditorium, 16 kilometers from the center of Madrid. Of those affected, Aitana has been the only one to announce the replacement of her two dates in the same space — previously scheduled for the last days of 2024 and already rescheduled, according to the artist, for June 27 and 28, 2025. He did it shortly after the club’s statement in an Instagram post where he claimed to have “been shocked” for what happened. The last concert affected by the suspension is that of Lola Indigo —previously scheduled for March 2025— who also regretted the inconveniences that the decision may have for their followers, but have not yet announced new dates. Until this Tuesday, the concerts of the three Spanish artists shared space on the official Real Madrid website, without a fixed date, but scheduled for 2025. All of them had sold out.

The club had announced in September and unilaterally, in a statement spread on networks, the suspension of all scheduled shows until at least March 2025 to make improvements that mitigate the noise generated by the concerts and by which The neighbors had been complaining since April. A decision that, as the club announced that day, “is part of the set of measures it has been taking so that strict compliance with current municipal regulations is verified during the concerts.”

The Dellafuente show scheduled for the Real Madrid stadium will be the same one that will arrive at the Atlético stadium, as confirmed by the organization: “A pioneering show in its approach, a show with a 360 degree design and innovative creative direction.” Tickets for the new concerts will go on pre-sale on November 7 of this year, and on general sale on the 8th of the same month – although for the show at the Bernabéu the tickets were sold out before reaching general sale. People who already had a ticket for the concert at the stadium in Chamartín will be relocated to spaces of the same category in the new headquarters without having to do any specific procedure, in a process that will be in charge of Ticketmaster, as confirmed by the organization to THE COUNTRY.
