In a Sea of Mediocre Games, No Man’s Sky Marches on With The Cursed Expedition Trailer

In recent years, the gaming industry has been rocked by a collection of failures and controversies. This has left gamers questioning the future of titles being released by gaming companies. Right from unfinished buggy messes to countless predatory monetary practices, the once fascinating world of gaming has found itself stuck in a hole.

However, there’s a game that’s setting new standards: No Man’s Sky. Debuting all the way back in 2015, it was quite a disaster at the launch. However, developer Hello Games didn’t give up and continued evolving the game. Today, it’s arguably one of the best bang for your buck as it’s all set to get another expedition, The Cursed, which plans to shake things from the ground up.

Today, developer Hello Games has released a brand-new update for No Man’s Sky. This update is called ‘The Cursed’ and obviously is meant to bring a creepy vibe to the game, just like many events that we’ve seen in the other titles this week.

According to the developer, The Cursed is a brand-new expedition where gamers must fight to keep a grip on reality while dealing with visions and voices from a completely different dimension. It’s set to take place in a twilight universe where time can shift rapidly.

The Cursed brings us the new Boundary StarShip for traveling in this haunted universe, and it resembles a flying saucer. The expedition features a set of exclusive spooky rewards, including bioluminescent pets, Horror Exosuit customization, and the above-mentioned UFO-like Boundary Ship.

So far, the community’s reaction to the update has been quite appreciative. Gamers are excited to dig into this brand-new expedition and experience the “eldritch horror” presented by Hello Games and Sean Murray.

Babe, wake up, No Man’s Sky has eldritch horror now.

What’s really interesting is that the new Boundary Starship looks straight up like the Millennium Falcon from Star Wars!

Hello,Games is truly the anomaly in the modern gaming landscape as it continues to deliver such quality updates for free of cost.

I really don’t think any other game has released this many 100% free updates in gaming history.

Few in the community believe that Bethesda and Todd Howard’s Starfield can ever compare to No Man Sky if Hello Games continues to deliver such updates.

I love how Starfield, a massive undertaking of a game, will NEVER compare to NMS.

It’s interesting that some in the community have already read between the lines and predicted that Hello Games will bring a Cursed expedition. The developer has revealed that the update will kick off today, October 23, and run for approximately three weeks.

It just isn’t The Cursed expedition; Hello Games will bring an update for No Man’s Sky that will allow players to take advantage of the upcoming PS5 Pro at launch. With so many incredible updates and additions to the game, Murray and his team have proven their commitment to the gaming industry.

Hello Games is also working on its next game, Light No Fire. It’s an action-adventure title that’s set across one procedurally generated multiplayer. Gamers must work together and adventure across the Space. It’s one of the biggest projects by the studio and aims to capture the same fantasy appeal we see in Lord of the Rings.

However, there’s still no release window for the game, but there’s a chance that the debut can happen sooner than we expect. Light No Fire has been in development for more than five years at this point from a small team working outside No Man Sky‘s realm.
