ESPN’s “College GameDay” is leaning on a former Hoosier as the celebrity guest picker on Saturday when the popular college football pregame show heads to Indiana.
Philadelphia Phillies slugger Kyle Schwarber, an Indiana alum, will join the panel, he announced on Thursday.
“Hey Hoosier fans, Kyle Schwarber here,” he said. “Can’t wait to see all you guys there on Saturday to cheer on the Hoosiers and also can’t wait to be the celebrity guest picker for ‘College GameDay.’ It’s gonna be exciting. It’s gonna be fun. I can’t wait to see all you guys there, and Go Hoosiers!”
Schwarber will join host Rece Davis and analysts Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee, Nick Saban and former Indiana coach Lee Corso (1973-82). College football insider Pete Thamel, college football betting analyst ‘Stanford Steve’ Coughlin and reporters Jen Lada and Jess Sims round out the cast.
