If you look at music artists who have made it big in the industry, Eminem’s career has reached astronomical heights since he started his journey in 1998 to become one of the most successful rappers ever. “Slim Shady” has been an integral part of almost everybody’s childhood in the 2000s, which makes his existence and music even more meaningful today.
When Marshall Bruce Mathers III was much younger, he drew inspiration from rappers like LL Cool J, Masta Ace, Kool G Rap, and even The Notorious B.I.G. However, the 52-year-old inspired several other aspirants during the peak of his career. Some even managed to get themselves to work with the legend, just like Big Sean, who believes Eminem is probably the hardest worker ever.
Big Sean’s thoughts on working with Eminem will help you understand why he’s the GOAT
Big Sean became a prominent name in the music industry during the 2010s, holding credits to songs like Bounce Back, Blessing, and I Know. While he is one individual who rightfully deserves to proudly boast of having three No.1 ranked albums, his success looks like an ant next to what Eminem has achieved over the years.
During an interview on the Zach Sang Show, Big Sean recalled the first time he interacted and worked with Eminem in the studio. Based on his experience, this is all he could say,
Eminem is like the biggest rapper in the world and like he be in the studio everyday. Everyday he can be in there. It’s like he’s dedicated to it, man. He care about rapping like Goku care about fighting.
Big Sean and Eminem have worked together on multiple tracks like Detroit vs Everybody, No Favors, and The Death of Slim Shady, with all three being major hits at the time of their release.

However, the 36-year-old rapper revealed that he regrets not bringing his Eminem merchandise for the legend to sign because at the end of their first session, the Love The Way You Lie rapper asked Big Sean to sign one of his own CDs. Apparently, Eminem might’ve been a little shy to admit he was a fan.
Does Eminem like anime?
If you’re an anime fan and you like Eminem’s work, this story about him sampling Tokyo Ghoul tracks on his 2018 Kamikaze album will make you love him even more. According to ComicBook, one of the album’s producers, Illadaproducer, admitted to using a track from the anime show on one of Em’s songs.
But this also worked the other way around as Eminem may have inspired a character on the anime fan favorite One Piece. The show’s creator, Eiichiro Oda tends to use real-life personalities and celebrities to create characters. One Piece’s Enel has a ton of physical similarities to Eminem.
Unfortunately, we don’t know if Eminem watches anime or if he is a fan of it. But we do know that he might like South Park, based on Big Sean’s comments while being interviewed on the Zach Sang Show.
