Former Alabama defensive lineman placed on injured reserve by Philadelphia Eagles

Defensive tackle Byron Young hasn’t played for the Philadelphia Eagles this season, and the former Alabama standout definitely won’t play in the NFL team’s next four games.

On Friday, the Eagles announced Young had been placed on injured reserve because of a hamstring injury. By NFL rules, an injured-reserve designation requires the player to miss at least four games.
