Class 6A top-ranked Saraland capped off an undefeated regular season with a 42-0 road win over Theodore at C.A. Douglas Field on Friday night.
Quarterback K.J. Lacey, a Texas commitment, threw for 254 yards and three touchdowns. Carson Gill had eight receptions for 119 yards and a score, DeShawn Spencer caught six passes for 103 and a TD and Santae McWilliams ran for 84 yards and a score. The Spartans defense recorded five sacks, including a scoop-and-score, forced six punts and stopped Theodore on downs twice in the second half.
