It’s Not Animation Quality 1

From its art to its visuals The Beginning After The End is anything but a bog-standard manhwa. The Isekai series, created by TurtleMe, was first released in 2017. Through its world-building and power systems, it offers a unique take on the genre. On top of that, the series is soaring heights with its worldwide fanbase. However, there’s more to it than meets the eye.

With the series’ growing success and fanbase, there are several concerns. And with these concerns, there’s a shift in priorities. The mangaka revealed his topmost priority regarding his series in an interview. Surprisingly it has nothing to do with its upcoming adaptation but a pressing issue. This doesn’t negate the fact that the series is getting its much-awaited animated adaptation.

TurtleMe reveals his top priority for TBATE

The Beginning After The End or TBATE as it is called, is one of the popular Isekai manhwas. Written by TurtleMe, the series focuses on Arthur Leywin and his new life. Before his reincarnation in Dicathen as Arthur, King Grey was assassinated through poisoning. With no memories of his previous life, Arthur sets on a journey to live a fulfilling life with his rebirth.

The series fuses fantastical elements and action brilliantly. What makes it even more appealing are the stunning visuals. With top-notch art and well-paced plotline, the series is a complete treat.

This also extends to its character building. The manhwa has fleshed-out characters with brilliant development. However, like his contemporaries, the mangaka had his qualms regarding his series that had nothing to do with the anime.

In an interview, TurtleMe shared his topmost priority for his series. Surprisingly it has nothing to do with its upcoming anime.

Like most mangaka, his concerns are plausible considering the popularity of the series. The renewal of his manhwa is important for the series to grow as a franchise. Despite the ratings and reception, the future of a manhwa is quite uncertain. This, however, doesn’t take away the fact that the series is finally getting its animated adaptation.

The Beginning After The End is finally getting its anime

On 19th October 2024, Crunchyroll posted a reveal regarding the official release of the anime. While the exact date is unknown, the website estimated it to be somewhere around 2025. The Studio A-Cat is set to produce the animated adaption as revealed by the website. Some of the notable works by the studio are Transformers: Energon, Tamayomi, and Highspeed Etoile.

The anticipation regarding the manhwa’s adaptation fizzled out for many reasons. This included the closure of several popular shonen manga like Jujutsu Kaisen as well as My Hero Academia. Another possible reason is the fans and their qualms regarding animated adaptations.

While the teaser looks promising one cannot be certain regarding the series’ quality. Considering the botched animation and pacing issue most fans fear for their favorite series. From Uzumaki to the Tower of God most studios failed in giving just adaptations. With TBATE, one can only hope for a well-deserved adaptation.

Despite fans’ qualms and concerns, the teaser for the series looks promising. As for the animation quality, both A-Cat and Studio Slow Curve have worked with notable projects. Be it Black Clover or Chain Chronicle both series have impeccable animation quality. On top of that, the mangaka is meticulous about his work. This only means that there won’t be a scope of disaster in any case.

The Beginning After The End is available for reading on Tapas.
